Fuse casing replacing method for bomblet projectile, involves fixing new fuse casing to active component casing in such a way that remaining portion of rivet is inserted into bores of new fuse casing
A portion of rivet (5) is removed for replacing a fuse casing (4) with a new fuse casing. The new fuse casing is fixed to an active component casing (2) in such a way that the remaining portion of the rivet is inserted into bores (6) of new fuse casing. The new fuse casing is attached to rivet by laser welding using welding filler material. The welding is performed from side away from casing (2).
