The clip is used to temporarily hold a car control pedal in position while it is permanently fixed. It is U-shaped and the arms (4) of the U fit into a grooved mounting on the car floor. A central ring (5) mounted on flexible strips (8) between the arms of the U holds the pedal shaft in position.
