Emergency locking device for door of car has lever inside housing adapted to be pushed into locked position by special tool inserted through opening which may be closed by special cover
The lock (1) is fitted to a car door and has a housing (5) with a plastics insert (5'). It has a rotary catch (D) adjacent to an opening (2) for a door handle. A lever (3) adjacent to the catch is visible through the opening (8) through which the special tool may be inserted. The special cover has an aperture through which the tool may be inserted, and the lever has a pad on one end, on which the tool may press. The lock has a connection to a central locking system (4).
