Speed control circuit for brushless DC motor has pulse width modulation control stage between driver element output and transistor that uses PWM signal to control drive signal output
The circuit has a motor driver stage (10) with at least one coil (11) and at least one transistor (12), a driver element (20) with a number of output connections for outputting a drive signal to the transistor to control the mode and a pulse width modulation or PWM control stage (30) between the output connections of the driver element and the transistor that uses a PWM signal to control the output of the drive signal to set the motor speed.
