The mechanical gyroscope is for the demonstrating of centrifugal force and gravitational force acting against each other. The gyroscope has a cage (2) movably suspended on a vertical pin (1), with mass pieces (6) eccentrically fastened on the gyroscope cage for the action of centrifugal force, and for gravitational force a mass component (7) fitted on the lower axial mounting (4) of the gyroscope cage which is axially movable on the pin.
