The light pedal crank bearing has two shoulders (21) on the outer side each joining a bearing surface on the outer side. The outer bearing races (40) on the inner side each have an annular slot which lies opposite the bearing surface and which adjacent to an annular wall, whereby are formed two annular chambers for two ball bearings (30). The axle tube (50) on the inner side has a first and a second shoulder for the two outer bearing races. The diameter of the two axle heads can be increased to increase the flexural rigidity.
