Composite structure of reaction vessels, for automated laboratory processes, has function channel(s) next to the reaction vessels to give heating/cooling, magnetic separation of sample components and vibration
The composite structure (8) of reaction vessels has at least one function channel (1) next to one or more reaction vessels (2), closed off against them. The function channel can contain a permanent magnet, and a heating/cooling tine or pin which can induce movement. The reaction vessels have a capacity of 0.5-3.0 ml and preferably 1.5-2.5 ml. The gap between the reaction vessel(s) and the function channel is 0.001-5.0 mm, and preferably 0.1-1.0 mm. The composite structure is fixed by a locking projection (9).
