Device comprises weighing scales and a height adjustment mechanism and has a weighing cell with first, second and third means that interact with each other and prevent torsional forces arising from the force introduction from the car body from falsifying measurements. First means is a retainer element that can be changed in position relative to the force introduction element, second means is an insert and third means is a tensioner between force introduction element and a lower support.
