The beam connecting system has slots (15,16) recessed into the longitudinal sides and/or end faces of the beams. A cross sectional center axis (15.1,16.1) of the longitudinal side slots is set at an angle to the plane of the longitudinal side. Tongues fit into the slots for the interconnection of the beams. The cross sectional center axis of the longitudinal side slots is set at an angle of 10-30 degrees to the cross sectional center axis (10.2) of the beam, and the cross sectional center axis of the end face slots is set at an angle of 60-80 degrees to the plane of the end face.
