The sizes and number of holes, and also the thickness of the disc, are dimensioned so that no influencing of the chimney flue takes place. The arrangement of the disc in the upper section of the burner tip chamber serves to produce several small flames. The arrangement of the disc in the hot gas flue serve for the storing of the heat of the combustion gases.
