Air spring for road vehicle has variable additional volume integrated into overall air volume and volume of entire space enclosing air can be additionally varied
The vehicle air spring has a variable additional volume in a bag (1) integrated into the overall air volume. It enables the volume of the entire space enclosing the air of the air spring to be additionally varied, apart from the stroke of the air spring. The volume is varied by an electronic controller depending on the measurement results from one or more acceleration sensors (3).
