Mixing silo used for mixing flowable products, e.g. in the drinks and brewing industries, in refineries and in waste water management comprises a mixing pipe having a bundle of joined individual tubes made from non-extrudable material
Mixing silo comprises a mixing pipe (1) having a bundle of joined individual tubes (2) made from non-extrudable material. The tubes are produced in such a way that each tube lies on planar contact surfaces (6). Convex curved edges (10) of the tubes lie parallel to each other on the contact surfaces toward the outer periphery of the mixing pipe and form a gusset in the outer surface of the mixing pipe. The outer surface of the mixing pipe is composed of peripheral sections of individual tubes. Preferred Features: The individual tubes are connected by a common welding seam (8) leads to the gusset in the outer surface of the mixing pipe. The profiles of the tubes are the same.
