The information relating to service in a service network, is stored in data records to facilitate centralized provision of service in the network. Each record has instance field (540) to identify a service instance for specific or group of services, and dependency field (550) to define dependencies for the services, if the services are complex service. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) service data model; and (2) service provision method.
