Image data handling method in medical diagnostic application, involves compiling data stream by arranging compressed blocks based on decomposition of image data and tessellating decompressed data set
Image data is decomposed into several data sets using lossless wavelet decomposition. A decomposed data set is tessellated into several blocks. The blocks are compressed using lossless compression. A data stream is compiled by sequentially arranging the compressed blocks in a desired order based on decomposition and tessellation. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) Image data retrieving method; (2) Image data storing method; (3) Image data management system; and (4) Image data handling program.
