The ventilation device has a fan providing an air flow and a housing which is coupled to the fan, provided with at least one air outlet facing towards the passenger compartment. The housing contains a filter unit (15) with 2 air filters (16,17) in a V configuration and has a bypass device for the filter unit, utilizing the intermediate space between the air filters as the bypass path which is selectively blocked via a bypass flap (27) with a triangular surface (271), pivoted about an axis (272) transverse to the air flow direction.
