System for information exchange in an electronic trade network, whereby a central server and database system is used to link participants according to a set of qualifying criteria drawn up by the participants themselves
System for sharing market information amongst participants, whereby one or more databases (18) are created containing information pertaining to market participants. A communication server (22) is responsible for communicating with market participants (12, 14). The server manages the requests and requirements of the participants and receives criteria from them that are to be fulfilled by participants before they can join the system. The server searches its databases to determine which participants fulfill the criteria and then sends a list of all such participants to the participants who requested the list generation. The invention also relates to a corresponding method and software for its implementation.
