The vehicle door or flap with a shell structure comprises at least one elastic hose (3) which is located between the edge (6) of the inner shell (1) and a section of the outer shell (2) surrounding this edge, and is filled with an elastic compound (4) to produce a joint between the two shells. An Independent claim is also included for a method for producing the proposed vehicle door or flap.
