Image analysis system for determining if an object belongs to a certain class or type of objects, comprises at least one digital camera and a central image database containing images with which recorded images are compared
Image analysis system comprises at least a digital camera (11), a central image analysis database (12), communications means (13) linking camera and database and a comparison processor (14) for comparison of images recorded with the camera and images stored in the database. The camera can be used independently from the image processing system and is linked via wireless communications means to the database as required. The invention also relates to a corresponding method and central data querying device.
