Influencing pigmentary properties of titanium dioxide during its chloride process production, involves introduction of the required substance in aqueous or aerosol form into the hottest part of a pre-combustion chamber
Influencing pigmentary properties of titanium dioxide during its chloride process production, involves introduction of the required substance in aqueous or aerosol form into the hottest part of a pre-combustion chamber
Titanium dioxide pigment production by reaction of titanium tetrachloride with oxygen in a combustion chamber involves adding aluminum and/or phosphorus compound to influence crystal structure, as well as a further substance to influence pigmentary properties and with energy input to a pre-combustion chamber to heat oxygen. Titanium dioxide pigment production by reaction of titanium tetrachloride (6) with oxygen (4) in a combustion chamber (2) involves adding an aluminum and/or phosphorus compound to influence the crystal structure, as well as a further substance (10) to influence pigmentary properties and with energy input to a pre-combustion chamber (1) to heat the oxygen (4). The substance (10) is introduced in aqueous form or as an aerosol into the hottest part of chamber (1).
