Procedure for tree handling in forestry work entails use of riser which is transported by means of static cable on load hook on helicopter side, and with safety spring snap at other end of static cable
The procedure for tree handling entails the use of a riser which is transported by means of a static cable (2) on a load hook (3) on the helicopter side. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a load hook with two independent release mechanisms; (b) a static cable of variable length and at the end equipped with a safety spring snap (6) with a swivel; and (c) a distance plate upon which several transporting strops in stepped lengths can be suspended and enabling the transporting of several risers as a paternoster.
