The ventilation and air extraction arrangement has at least one fan (10) mounted in an air guidance channel (8) and air inlet and outlet openings (6) of the air guidance channel close to the vehicle roof (1) and on the inside for selectively feeding air to or removing air from the vicinity of the vehicle's roof. Air inlet and outlet openings can be arranged above the side panel (4).
