Foot massage unit comprises a hollow cylindrical device with a diameter of some 15 cm, length of 45 cm and wall thickness of 2mm. The cylinder is made of steel and has an outer conducting plastic layer, e.g. Teflon. The plastic layer has ridges in it to improve stimulation of the nerve endings. Heating is achieved via a rheostat with heating spirals. The cylinder can be rolled on the foot, etc. and means are provided to prevent tangling of the supply cables.
