Computer tomography instrument with an X-ray tube (1) for irradiation of an object (2) and a receiver (3) for measuring radiation transmitted through the object. A user interface (6) is used to input settings, while measurement electronics (7) include configurable filter electronics for filtering and preparation of the measurement signal and a system computer (8) is provided for configuring filter electronics, based on settings input via the user interface, and for evaluation of the measurement results.
