The optimization method has characteristic values for all components (BG1,..BG4) of the plant compared with defined reference values, for identification of the components with characteristic values falling below the reference values, for optimization of these components. The optimization can be effected by dividing the component into sub-components, with comparison of their characteristic values with reference values for optimization of the sub-components with characteristic values below the reference values.
