Truck loading space with roof tubes anchored to floor uses roof rail profiles so tube top-end bearings adjust in rails off drive or anchor flat to floor to suit load details.
Truck loading space with roof tubes anchored to floor uses roof rail profiles so tube top-end bearings adjust in rails off drive or anchor flat to floor to suit load details.
Bearings at the top ends allow the individual metal tubes to be guided adjustably on the rail profiles forming part of the truck roof. The tubes use a closing mechanism to fix them to the truck floor on the frame and the tubes adjust also mechanically in the rails. The tubes can withstand forces up to 0.8 G to hold the loads and can be held open by the mechanism and sit spaced at 30 cm or less, being incorporated in the plywood panel between floor frame and roof.
