Vehicle steering control involves using actuator output signal as scalar function of at least 2 of e.g. road curvature, roll rate, vertical acceleration, float angle, roll angle, lateral tire force signals
The method involves producing a vehicle steering parameter (7) depending on a steering input parameter (3) and an actuator (5) output parameter produced depending on the steering input parameter and a yaw rate signal. The actuator output signal is a scalar function of at least two of; road curvature, roll rate, vertical acceleration, float angle, roll angle, lateral tire force and transverse acceleration signals.
