Method for comparison of data that is digitized and structured in the form of two terms in a memory or a number of memories, whereby each of the two terms is made up of any number of nodes with any number of child elements and each term begins with a root node. Each term with any number of nodes and a fixed number of child elements beginning with the root node is stored in the form of a list, with individual list items comprising type, value and references to child elements.
