Hot-gas engine comprises rotation-symmetric working space divided by rotating dividers into different temperature and volume zones to include warm and cold rooms round center pin.
The rotation-symmetrical working space (4) has separate temperature zones and contains a number of rotatable dividers (40) dividing the space into different volumes and setting them rotating in the space (4). A coupling couples the dividers (40) movably so the interval between element adjoining dividers varies per revolution depending on temperature zones and their gas volume temperatures. The work space (4) rotates about a center pin (10) also carrying the dividers (40) reaching out from the pin rotation-symmetric to inner wall (5) and outer wall (6). A cold room (20) and a warm room (22) vary the zone temperatures, the space (4) being gastight and divided by the dividers (40) and thermally insulated as also the two rooms (20,22) from the outside environment.
