Fluid flow simulation method for use in 3-D spaces, e.g. building interiors, whereby one or more physical field values, such as temperature, pressure, particle concentration or flow velocity, are modeled. According to the method the flow around air supply outlets are modeled with different standard outlet types stored in a model catalogue. This model catalogue is then used in subsequent flow simulations. The invention also relates to a corresponding program for controlling a simulation unit.
