Increasing the yield of microbial synthesis of enzymes (I) that cleave extracellular polysaccharides. Increasing the yield of microbial synthesis of enzymes (I) that cleave extracellular polysaccharides comprises adding to the fermentation suspension plant material (A) of predominantly macromolecular nature, a source of substrates for the microorganisms and of inducers of (I) synthesis. At the beginning of cell growth, and again at the beginning (and during later stages) of enzyme production, enzymes formed in previous production runs are added. The composition of the added enzymes depends on the nature of (A) used, e.g. xylanase for wheat, beta -glucanase for barley or a cellulase-rich mixture for straw.
