A process for coloring and/or printing textile materials containing mirofibers and/or microfilaments, from at least one polyamide component and optionally at least one other polymer component, in which the textile material is treated with formic acid and is colored and/or printed with at least one colorant selected from: acid dyes, metal complex colorants, reactive colorants, direct dyes, and cationic colorants is new.
