A voltage test device (16) is connected to a coupling electrode (20), which can be coupled to live components of voltage switchgear. The test device includes a partial discharge test unit (18) which is also connectable to the coupling electrode. A frequency splitter (26) is provided for supplying the low frequency signal components to the voltage test unit and the high frequency signal components to the partial discharge test unit. Independent claims are also included for a coupling part for a test device, and for a measuring device for a test device.
