Rotor balancing system has logic with control algorithm for processing sensor signals into control signals for moving balance weight to reduce imbalance vibrations
The rotor (10) has at least one separately movable balance weight (36) for varying the rotor inertial moment relative to a rotation axis (8); at least one vibration sensor device (50) is provided for detecting an existing imbalance during rotation and generating measurement signals. Processing logic has a control algorithm for processing the sensor signals into control signals for moving the balance weight to reduce imbalance vibrations. Independent claims are also included for: (1) an object, especially containing an inventive rotor; (2) an engine crankshaft containing an inventive rotor; (3) a method of dynamic balancing of a rotor.
