PURPOSE: A method of preparing a diet food product using several medicinal plants such as Artemisiae capillaris Herba, Theae folium, Laminaria japonica Aresch, etc. is provided. The product has synergistically reduces constipation, prevents acidifying blood and removes corneous tissues and is thus effectively used as a diet food. CONSTITUTION: Medicinal plants comprise 6.7% by weight of Artemisiae capillaris Herba, 6.7% by weight of Theae folium, 46.5% by weight of Laminaria japonica Aresch, 6.7% by weight of Cassiae semen, 6.7% by weight of Plantaginis semen, 6.7% by weight of mulberry leaves, 10% by weight of pine needles and 10% by weight of coix seeds.
