PURPOSE: A system and a method for a counseling portal service using an OPISS(Oriental Philosophy Integration System Software) are provided to offer an opened searching, researching, and debating environment by making a user freely approach to the OPISS and the related contents within a range of a user's point. CONSTITUTION: A web server(60) provides an Internet service by including a point web board, a mailing system, and a chatting room. An integrated security system(10) keeps the security of the web server(60), carries out a firewall function for hacking and virus, and detects an external intrusion. An OPISS database server(50) stores the Oriental philosophy integration information and the related data as a program form. A member management database(20) gives the user a member authority for connecting to the contents, manages the personal information of each member, and carries out total management for connection and disconnection of a member. A point management system(30) checks a mileage point of each member. An integrated settlement system(40) fills up the mileage point through a settlement method when the mileage point is exhausted.
