PURPOSE: Provided is a water purification apparatus being capable of alkalizing water in a storage tank, preventing bacteria proliferation and preventing iron-based pipeline corrosion. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises an iron-based casing(1) having a water inlet(4) and a water outlet and functioning as a first electrode; a silver plated metal mesh(9) installed in the iron-based casing(1); ceramic balls(11); a titanium oxide mesh(10) surrounding the silver plated metal mesh(9); a first hydrogen adsorption alloy(15) connected to the silver plated mesh(9) or the titanium oxide mesh(10) and used as a second electrode; a second hydrogen adsorption alloy connected to an inner surface of the iron-based casing(1) and used as an additional second electrode; and a silver plated assembly and a titanium oxide assembly filled in empty space of the iron-based casing(1).
