PURPOSE: A method and a system for preventing and removing ocean pollution are provided to perform more fast and effective preventing and removing management by providing a preventing and removing strategy and various kinds of situation information when an ocean pollution accident due to the breakage or the submergence of a ship or an oil tanker is occurred. CONSTITUTION: A web server(31) manages and operates various kinds of services related to the ocean pollution prevention and removal. A prevention and removal information system(32) provides prevention and removal strategy modeling, prevention and removal information inquiry, a drawing, and a map. A member information database(33) stores the member information. A technology support database(34) stores the ocean pollution prevention and removal guide, and a Q/A list. An accident information database(35) stores the data of the latest accident information, a history database, a case study, and a government policy trend. An education/training information database(36), a cooperative company database(37), and a technical data database(38) respectively stores the information related to each database.
