PURPOSE: A service method for alarming an arrival of destined subway station in a mobile communication system is provided to utilize location information of the mobile communication system, so that subscribers can get the alarm of arriving a destined subway station. CONSTITUTION: A message requesting alarm of reaching a target subway station is delivered from an MS(Mobile Station) to a server through an SMSC(Short Message Service Center)(S1). The server checks whether the MS is subscribed(S2). If so, the server requests location information to a VLR(Visitor Location Register) of an MSC(Mobile Switching Center), to decide and count an expected time of arrival(S3). If the expected time of arrival is reached, the server decides whether the MS reaches the target subway station based on the location information(S4,S5). If not, the server decides a time to the target subway station(S6,S7). If the MS reaches the target subway station, the server sends a call to the MS(S8). If a user responds to the call, the server disconnects the call with the MS(S9,S10).
