PURPOSE: A lecture guide service system and method is provided to enable a lecturer to offer lecture contents providing service on a foreign language with voices and images, a community service by a messenger function, or a real time moving picture lecture providing service to a student over the internet. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a home page, management tools, a community service module, and a remote multimedia lecture service system. The home page offers a member subscription, a log-in/log-out, a message box, or a study group function to the members who can be a student, parents or a school teacher. The management tools are for processing a schedule management, a textbook management, a member management and others over an online network. The community service module enables members to form a community over the online network, such as a friend registration, a friend preference degree registration, a friend search, a unilateral or multilateral chatting, a file transfer or a like-minded association. The remote multimedia lecture service system enables a lecturer to produce a customized text made of moving pictures, voices or footnotes, or to offer a real time lecture to the student over the online network.
