PURPOSE: A piling method by combining a prestressed concrete pile and a steel pipe pile is provided to obtain a high-quality pile with effective expenses and to improve the bearing force and structural stiffness of a pile. CONSTITUTION: The piling method by combining a prestressed concrete pile and a steel pipe pile comprises the steps of: constructing the lower part of a pile supported to the solid bearing layer of the ground using a PHC pile(11); and constructing the upper part of the pile affected by moment, compressive force and shear force by a steel pipe pile(12) jointed and connected vertically to a head steel cover part(11a) of the PHC pile(11).
