An invention pertains to a method for control of static and dynamic stability processes in a large electric system, whose model is shown in fig.1 and which comprises AC and DC transmission lines (11, 8) and consumers (9) of electric energy, small and/or medium and large electric stations (5, 6) including hydro electric stations, hydro accumulating stations and thermal electric stations, as well as AC-to-DC transformers (7), automatic devices (10) for prevention of asynchronous operation as well as node points (1, 2, 3, 4), by using primary standard models of the mentioned elements of the system and/or characteristic curves thereof, as well as pertains to a computer programme for realization of the method and a method for its application for adaptive regulation of the mentioned system.
