The present invention provides a method for producing eggs containing specific antibodies against a group of bacteria (IgY) to prevent gastritis, diarrhea and food poisoning by simultaneously immunizing young chickens with 4e E. coli antigen proteins which causes Helicobacter pylori enteritis, which causes gastritis, and Salmonella enteritidis and Salmonella typhimurium, which cause food poisoning. The present invention also relates to a composition containing the specific IgY antibodies described above and to food products such as yoghurt and ice cream containing the anti-pathogenic IgY. Additionally, the present invention relates to the method for separating IgY containing protein powders from egg yolk. More particularly, the separation method involves diluting the egg yolk with water in a 1: 1 ratio and adding an appropriate amount of ammonium sulfate, which allows the separation of the water soluble protein and phospholipid.
