PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control instrument used both for a defending shield capable of effectively control and arrest an offender without receiving any blame of excessive defence, such as a definite damage given to the body of an opponent or the like, while securing a perfect space at a site facing to the offender having an offensive weapon.;SOLUTION: The control and protection shield is such a device that a shield, provided at the tip end of the device, is popped out by the operation of a trigger (37) simultaneously utilizing a linear resilient force of two coil springs provided in a rod body against the opponent to preclude the advance of the opponent by the operation of a rod shield provided with an arm type supporting shield (7) having the function of an arm type pierce leg in order to secure the perfect space upon facing against the brutal offender having the offensive weapon. The shield is projected against the offensive weapon controlled by the offender to drop off the weapon and, further, push down the body of the opponent by the shield to control him.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
