PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the quantity of a global warming gas to be released to the air and to be newly produced while maintaining the necessary quantity of the global warming gas to be supplied. PSOLUTION: A gas cycle system has: a carbon dioxide recovering means 4 for recovering gaseous carbon dioxide from a carbon dioxide production source 2; a carbon dioxide purifying means 6 for improving the purity of the gaseous carbon dioxide obtained in the carbon dioxide recovering means; a replacing means for replacing gaseous sulfur hexafluoride in an electric insulation instruments using the gaseous sulfur hexafluoride as an electric insulating medium by the carbon dioxide obtained in the carbon dioxide purifying means; a sulfur hexafluoride recovering means 20 for recovering the gaseous sulfur hexafluoride used in the electric insulating instruments; a sulfur hexafluoride purifying means 22 for improving the purity of the gaseous sulfur hexafluoride recovered in the sulfur hexafluoride recovering means; and a means for recycling the gaseous sulfur hexafluoride obtained in the sulfur hexafluoride purifying means to the usage except the electric insulating medium.
