PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a banking work structure and method of banking work capable of simplifying a banking work such as bank protection work for shaping and protecting the ground of the slope of a riverbank or the like collapsed by erosion by flowing water or waves or the like, and imparting a sufficient strength to a construction part.;SOLUTION: The collapsed riverbank part under the slop is excavated in a prescribed shape, and banking work structures A1 that are frame bodies are juxtaposed in the excavated part so that mesh members are located on the slope side, and, if needed, laminated and fixed in multistage. The inclinations of the mesh members are continued substantially in the same direction. The excavated earth in the riverbank part or dredged earth is put in each banking work structure A1 and properly compacted. Each banking work structure A1 that is the frame body is laid in the state included in the soil of the construction part, and a sufficient strength can be given to the slope of the construction part with each banking work structure A1 as a framework.
