PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor thermal environment design system with high arithmetic accuracy in analyzing an indoor thermal environment, wherein an optimum condition of the indoor thermal environment is efficiently searched.;SOLUTION: This indoor thermal environment design system is provided with a data base 1 storing a plurality of kinds of design parameters for designing a room to be analyzed on the indoor thermal environment, based on a combination of a design parameter searched by the genetic algorithm from the data base 1, a GA operation part 2 performing a temperature-humidity CFD coupled analysis with a coarse mesh wherein distributions of temperature and humidity are assumed and extracting a candidate of a combination of optimum design parameters based on the evaluation value of this analysis result, a CFD operation part performing a detailed temperature-humidity CFD coupled analysis including distributions of temperature and humidity for every combination of candidates and outputting the evaluation value for every combination, and an indoor thermal environment designing part 5 selecting the highest evaluation value from the evaluation values and outputting the combination of the design parameters used for the operation for this evaluation value as optimum design values.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
