PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high tensile strength steel sheet for a welded structure which has excellent fatigue strength of a welded joint, and to provide a welded joint.;SOLUTION: The high tensile strength steel sheet for a welded structure having excellent fatigue strength of a welded joint has a composition containing, by mass, 0.005 to 0.2% C, 0.1 to 1.6% Si, 0.5 to 2% Mn, 0.05% P, 0.05% S, 0.0005 to 0.01% B, 0.01% N, 0.05 to 1% Al, and 0.005 to 0.5% Ti, and the balance Fe with inevitable components, and a carbon equivalent Ceq calculated by the following formula is 0.275 to 0.65%: Ceq (%)=C+Mn/6+(Cu+ Ni)/15+(Cr+Mo+V)/5+Nb/3. The welded joint having excellent fatigue strength consists of the same high tensile strength steel sheet, and, in the structure of a weld heat-affected zone therein, the area ratio of a bainitic structure is 60%, and the occupancy ratio of an intergranular ferritic structure is 10%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
