PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a classification result display device and classification result display method capable of easily grasping information related to cluster such as relation between clusters or relation between document and cluster, or information for relation between documents, and supporting the analysis of a document group or a new finding.;SOLUTION: A relevance ratio calculation part 1 calculates each relevance ratio between documents from the word vectors of documents inputted for clustering. A cluster analysis part 2 collects documents starting from a document having a large relevance ratio on the basis of each relevance ratio between documents calculated in the relevance ratio calculation part 1 to form tree data. A cluster extraction part 3 divides the documents to clusters on the basis of the tree data formed in the cluster analytic part 2. The display position of each document is calculated from each relevance ratio between documents calculated in the relevance ratio calculation part 1 in a display position calculation part 4. Each document is arranged in the corresponding display position, and the result of clustering by the cluster extraction part 3 is displayed thereon in a result display part 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
