PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new style game medium lending system by which a game card can be purchased and lending of a game medium can be received without having cash on hand.;SOLUTION: A game player registers prepaid data used for purchasing a game card in a system controlling apparatus 21 in accordance with an identification information of a portable telephone K and a password. When the game card is purchased, after the portable telephone K is brought close to either an inter-stand machine 12 or a card selling machine 16 and the identification information of the portable telephone K is made to be read, the password is transmitted to a system controlling apparatus 21 from the portable telephone K. When this password is correct, the prepaid data registered in the system controlling apparatus 21 is consumed and the game card wherein a valuable value corresponding to a predetermined amount of money is recorded is issued.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
