PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure calls from respective public telephone sets to a managing device. ;SOLUTION: A managing device 4 has a table 43A for registering the number of lines, the number of telephone sets, incoming interval time and call reception start time for each key number and a table 43B for registering a key number and call time for each of telephone numbers of all the telephone sets, repeatedly performs processing for calculating the key number with the least number of terminals per line on the basis of the registration condition of the table 43A when registering the key number to the telephone set, registering it corresponding to the telephone number in the table 43B and updating the number of telephone sets in the table 43A, calculates the call time of each telephone set for each key number on the basis of contents of the table 43A after the end of this processing and registers it corresponding to the key number in the table 43B. Afterwards, according to the registered contents of the table 43B, the key number and the call time are set to areas 13A and 13B of the telephone set.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
